EU Artist A name for European art

A directory and forum for European painters, sculptors, photographers and digital artists. The community went quiet years ago. The domain stayed. The idea is still good.

Established 2007
Manifesto

A small forum, quiet for a while. The name is still here.

EU Artist started in 2007 as an online forum where European artists shared work, talked technique, posted from gallery openings and argued about the price of cobalt blue.

It worked the way forums worked then. People used handles, posted threads, met in person at fairs. The site went idle in 2019. The archive is mostly gone. The community moved to other places.

Twelve letters that mean what they say. Open to a serious project or a serious offer.

The domain is still here. EUARTIST.COM, short, exact, available for galleries, residencies, foundations, EU cultural initiatives and publishers building something for the continental scene.

Eight rooms. One archive.

Steel from Aceros del Norte for the studio commission. The welder owes me a beer for the corner detail.
